This year Tecnoindustrie turns 25!

It was 1996 when the Merlo Group acquired a small company producing urban hygiene systems and created Tecnoindustrie Merlo. In these years Tecno has grown a lot, becoming one of the most important Italian companies in the waste collection sector, from an annual production of a few dozen vehicles to several hundreds.

It has come a long way from being a small provincial company to a top-level manufacturer, paved as always with research and development of new technologies capable of making a name for themselves on the market.
Today Tecnoindustrie offers a complete range of products, able to meet the needs of the market with simple and fast vehicles from 2 cu.m up to large compactors with a capacity of over 30 cu.m. Thanks to this commitment, Tecno’s vehicles are now considered among the best in the field, so much so that they have won over important customers throughout Italy and abroad, such as Ama in Rome. But Tecnoindustrie is not just for waste compactors.

Tecnocavi’s laboratories create components for all the vehicles produced by the Group. At a time where electronics is fundamental, in recent years Merlo telehandlers have benefited from several patented technologies which have won awards at the world’s most important trade fairs, such as the Merlo CDC and the Merlo TSS. These successes have been made possible thanks to the commitment and professionalism of all the men and women who carry out their work every day, making the Merlo Group a global technology leader.
